When first taking on the Real Life MTG challenge, we looked at what legendary lands there would be in this real we call “real”. The one that stuck out the most was non other than “Parent’s Basement”.
You can 5 generic mana and sacrifice a life goal (College, girlfriend, any friends for that matter) and be free of responsibility for one fiscal year. That sure is an awesome land!!

…Nerds pride themselves on being intelligent and “right” when it comes to any argument they are faced with. We have all come across the will of a nerd engaged in an argument at least once in our lifetime and we all know the Spartan like intensity they fight with. Now, with that said we will go back to yesterday…
…Those words flew through the air and into my ears then up to my brain and processed, replayed and replayed again…I was taken back. “What the fuck did he just say?” I wondered, then looked over to them and said “Guys…my brain can’t handle anymore blah blah blah, take it in the back room so I don’t shoot myself in the face” When they were gone, I wondered what need to be done about this blatant hypocritical paradox nerds live in.
There needs to be a Magic the Gathering card for all nerds to use the moment they are about to go from Real Life facts to Fictional facts. All they need to do is slap this card on the table and show everyone around them that they are intelligent about this world AND the world you are about to enter. Challenge accepted…
